Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) or ‘holy wood’ is a tree that grows in many South American countries. It is used by shamans (medicine men) in the Andes and the Amazon rain forest, for ceremonies and rituals. It is also widely used for meditation, purification and as a spiritual remedy for harmonization. Its exquisite fragrance and properties create a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. Regular incense sticks are for one use only; whereas the palo santo can be used many times (every stick can be lit more than 30 times).
Use: Purifies the atmosphere, relaxes, cleanses, works as a mosquito repellant.
Composition:
Palo santo sticks. Handcut, without the use of industrial machinery. Sundried, in a lengthy 4 year-process.
How to use:
Light the stick until it burns. Let it burn for a few seconds and then blow some air until there’s only smoke left. The stick will bathe the atmosphere in a delightful scent and will stop burning after a short while.
