Carved Aguaje key rings, made in Iquitos*.
Aguaje is one of the most typical fruits of the Amazon jungle, and one of the fruits which is most widely consumed by the people who live there.
Nevertheless, though little known, one of its final products is an artisanal key ring. A seed, with an irregular shape, is obtained from the seed of this fruit, averaged sized, with sufficient hardness to be carved into art by experienced and creative hands. Typical animals of the Amazon are the usual creations of these artists´ carvings.
Content: Figures of animals representative of the Amazon: parrots, frogs, monkeys, caimans, turtles, etc. Buy a key chain and carry something from the Amazon with you at all times!!
