Snail Cream
"The snail is known to prevent and eliminate wrinkles and mitigate stretch marks, eliminate scars caused by injuries, first-degree burns and acne removal, and eliminate sun spots. Slows the aging process of skin tissue and protects against the oxidative action of free radicals, improving elasticity, firmness, density and texture of the skin. Sooths irritation and slight injuries to the skin caused by shaving, and has also shown to be effective in removing skin warts. "

Snail Cream
In recent years the field of beauty care has seen a phenomenon experienced by the emergence of snail protein, a natural product with medicinal and fascinating cosmetic properties. Snail protein is a secretion produced by the land snail that is vital to the processes of repair and regeneration, and after careful studies it was discovered to promote the same processes in human skin. However as we shall see, knowledge about its properties is not so recent. There are studies indicating that snail protein helps moisturize and improve the appearance of skin with signs of photo aging. Snail protein exerts a dual role. On the one hand, it stimulates the formation of collagen, elastin and dermal components to repair the signs of photo aging, and on the other hand it also minimizes the damage caused by premature aging of the skin.

Snail Protein
Both the nutritional and the healing properties of the snail (Helix aspersa) have always been known. While breeding the snails, people who handled the snails noticed that their skin healed quickly from minor cuts and wounds. The snail produces the same healing properties for their tissue and shell repair when it breaks. Although this was a fact already known in ancient Rome and Greece, where the figure of the shell was the symbol of pharmacies, so to speak, for their medicinal properties. Snails move like worms, alternating elongations and contractions of their bodies, with a proverbial slowness. They produce mucus to aid locomotion by reducing friction and this contributes to their mucus thermoregulation. Snail mucus also reduces the risk of injury to the snail by external attack (bacterial and fungal) and helps them to stay away from potentially dangerous insects like ants. When retracted into its shell, it secrets a special type of mucus which polymerizes to cover the entrance to its shell with a structure called the operculum.

Composition of Snail
Snail protein contains:
-
Allantoin: it has been found that allantoin (chemically glyoxalin diurea) is a stimulant of epithelization of the skin by stimulating cell proliferation. Helps remove necrotic and unviable tissue, replacing it with new tissue. Another of its actions is to act as an anti-irritant, protecting skin from the action of acidic or alkaline substances, oils or soaps. The Food and Drug Administration, the agency demanding proof of American medicine, has tried using allantoin in different products to maintain the good condition of the skin.
-
Proteins and vitamins: the snail gets its power through plants. Proteins contribute to the trophic status of the skin, but vitamins also contain anti-inflammatory properties, which in this case, have the potential to act as natural antibiotics on the same substrate.
-
Natural antibiotics: Also contained in the snail are substances which act against bacteria present on the skin, especially Eschericia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Propionibacterium acnes (acne-causing bacteria), thereby protecting skin from their infective action.
-
Collagen and elastin: These two important components of skin are also found in the snail slime.
-
Glycolic acid: One of the great innovations in cosmetics has been the introduction of hydroxyl acids, which are applied to the skin and depending on their concentration, can produce a slight scaling up from an intense peeling. One of the most used hydroxyl acids today is glycolic acid, which is also present in snail protein in a concentration capable of producing a smooth elimination of the more superficial layers of dead cells and promoting the recent replacement of cells, formed under the encouragement of allantoin.
-
Glycolic acid: for removing surface layers of the skin, also improves the position of the hair follicles, encouraging the passage through it of substances applied on the surface.

Ingredients:
Cetostearyl alcohol, concentrated extract of snail protein, liquid petroleum jelly, glycolic alcohol, oleic acid decylic ether, silicone, miristrato isopropyl, propylene glycol, fragrance, allantoin, methyl, propyl, deionized water.
How tou use:
Clean the area of skin where you will apply the cream, washing with a natural mild soap. Dry skin; apply the cream to the affected area with a gentle massage until absorbed.
Apply topically 1 to 2 times a day.
The effectiveness of snail cream is guaranteed by various studies, which have been found to prevent and lessen wrinkles, stretch marks and scars caused by injuries and first-degree burns, and remove acne and sun spots. It has also been proven effective in removing skin warts. All this thanks to the excellent qualities of snail protein.
